Discover Life in the corps
The California Conservation Corps offers a unique and challenging, paid experience for young adults from across the state. A year in the CCC transforms their lives through developing new job skills, expanding personal growth, and conserving California’s natural resources. Corpsmembers’ hard work and long hours on environmentally focused projects and emergency response help make California an even better place for all.
Learn Specialized Techniques
Most specialized training in the CCC is connected to Corpsmember work projects and emergency response activities. Corpsmembers receive both “On-the-Job” and formal training. Examples of available training include:

Earn Your Degree
Corpsmembers can earn a high school diploma, take courses through community colleges, and earn thousands of dollars in scholarships that can be used at colleges, trade schools and certification courses.

Work Internationally
Over the years, representatives from more than 48 countries attracted to the CCC concept have contacted or visited the CCC seeking to address needs of youth employment and environmental protection. From these contacts, several international exchanges have developed.
